Melissa Hurkman is a Los Angeles based Makeup Artist. Growing up in San Diego she was encouraged by her grandmother to explore and challenge herself creatively by taking a wide variety of art classes. Along side her passion for art, Melissa began to fall in love with the beauty industry. Later she then graduated Paul Mitchell The School in 2011 with her cosmetology license. Melissa then began making her own strides in the beauty industry working and training with cosmetic brands such as MAC , and Sephora. Within the summer of 2014 Melissa  moved to Los Angeles and pursue her career as a Makeup Artist.

Within her time in Los Angeles, she has successfully grown her brand and notoriety through hard work, positive life outlook, and an ever growing quest of knowledge in an often swift moving beauty industry.
Melissa’s craft has been recognized around the world in editorials and billboards working with brands such as Colourpop, The Ouai, KKW Beauty, Torrid. Melissa’s work is also featured on celebrity clients such as Jessie James Decker, Nazanin Mandi, Chrissie Fit, Becca Tilley.
